Product Description
This is a 3D printed On30 scale 18' two bay hopper car shell. It has guide holes for the truck screws in the truck bolsters. ALWAYS pre-drill the holes for the truck screws and DO NOT overtighten. Parts may need a little light sanding and/or filing in spots. Use as-is or prime and paint as you wish. Add your own details (ladders, brake wheels and gear, etc) for a very unique car.
DOES NOT include trucks and couplers. I've been using Kadee metal trucks with couplers as they give the car a little weight. I prefer Kadee #500 Bettendorfs and #5 couplers. I've also used #502 and #503 trucks with couplers. The #502 and #503 will need spacer washers between the truck and body to get the proper clearance for the wheels. I use M1.7 screws for mounting the trucks.
Car measures approx 4 1/2"L x 1 5/8"W x 1 5/8"H.
