Product Description
This is a replica of the benchmark used from 1933-35 as part of a program to employ surveyors and engineers during the Great Depression. The work was done under the supervision of the Coast and Geodetic Survey. These benchmarks are smaller than the typical marks in use by the Coast and Geodetic Survey and had a greyish-bronze color that is unique to them.
