Product Description
One pair of HO box car frames with complete brake gear including piping, levers, lever hangers, etc. Note that these brake components are VERY fragile and will break if accidently bumped during construction. These frames are designed to use .020" thick Evergreen scribed styrene for the sides, ends, and roof. After installation, the sides need to be reinforced with .020" plain styrene between the floor and roof. They can be used to build Yosemite Valley Railroad box cars 601-609. (Note: 601 converted to caboose 19 in 1925, 604 disposed of in 1930, 608 converted to section house in 1938.) No. 607-609 had a special brake pawl which is modeled by the detail part inside cars.
