Product Description
These are intermediate standard 3mm:1ft wheels, representing 3'1.5" diameter 3-hole disc. The point-to-point axle length is 20mm, wheels front to front is 15mm, back to back is 10.5mm, and front of flange to front of flange is about 11.5mm (the flanges are about 0.5mm thick). They should run on 12mm gauge track. You get axles, enough for 4 x 4-wheel wagons. Break the handling cages bit by bit with cutting tools to get the wheels out. Metal axles will probably run better, and I don't know how hard wearing the pinpoints will be but they seem to be OK for normal use.
I have received a set myself now (see photos) and they do fit and turn in a Parkside Dundas 12'wb chassis with brass bearings. If you decide to try them, please be aware that they may not perform as well as other wheels when run for long periods (they may wear out). You also have to clean and paint them. On the other hand if you just need a few sets of wheels to finish some models, test clearances and get them running, there should be no problem at all (I have had good independent feedback about how well they run).
I have the CAD for coarse and finescale standards too, which I can upload if you want them. Bogie wagons may be better fitted with smaller diameter wheels; Let me know your requirements, as I already have the CAD for 2'6" wheels (see my 3mm:1ft BR Rectank model).
UPDATE 2020-05-04: I made the pinpoint cones slightly sharper. They worked fine and spun freely as they were in metal bearings, but ironically not in my own 3D printed bearings (though metal axles worked fine and spun freely in those). This adjustment is to fix that problem.
