1/700 G3 Battlecruiser Superstructure

The G3 design was the culmination in the development for a post-war British battlecruiser which would outclass vessels then under construction, primarily the Amagi and Lexington classes.
The class was a massive jump compared to the previous Admiral and Renown classes, even after the redesign of the former: with nine 16'' guns in three triple turrets and a 14'' belt, the ships would be on par in terms of armour and firepower to the Iowa class battleships which were designed more than twenty years later. With 160,000 shp, it is questionable whether they would have attained their designed speed of 32kn, but they would have surely broken the 30kn mark.
