Product Description
Railway Post Office car Closed Vestibule End
To convert Bachmann Baggage, Combine, Coach or Observation cars into a carriage with Closed Vestibule Ends.
This end has no side doors and an end door in the style of RPO carriages used by the ET&WNC and D&RGW.
This product is for one end. You will usually need two ends per carriage, but are offered individually so one can be used on Observation cars or mix and match styles for an RPO coach.
Conversion Advice:
Remove end beam with railings (see photo)
Remove handrails on ends of the coach body (see photo)
Saw off the end of the coach body (see photo)
Saw off the end of the coach roof. (see photo)
It is recommended to saw off less than needed and sand back while checking against the new end regularly.
Saw off the location pins on the inside of the ends of the roof.
If converting both ends, the final roof length is approximately 185.5mm.
