Moacyr is a monkey, a rare golden one in fact, some say he is part lion due to his mane, in Tupi-Guarani he is called Saguipiranga.

It is an obsetion, it's a life style. Swinging from tree to tree he knows the top of the Amazonian trees like no other, at times he will spot Tuca the toucan. Tuca finds Moa to be a little self centered, too much into himself and not too social, but Moa is a simple monkey. Is not that he is a thief or mischeveous, when he sees a banana he just can't help it.
Sometimes Lila the Sloth will cover for him, saying she didn't see any wrong doing. But Tuca, one who loves to tell a story, doesn't have the patience to hear Lila talk in her sloooooow temmmmpo, so he rather just let things go. Meanwhile Moa very quiet as usual runs away with another banana to a taller tree away from others who may be eyeing his precious.
