1:8 DeLorean Dayton switch

Accurate 1:8 scale Dayton switch replica for the Eaglemoss DeLorean model that also fully works mechanically. Replaces stock parts 43E, 43F and 43G.

Specifically designed for my 1:8 scale TFC replica.  You can also use it with the stock TFC but then you will need to cut the 4 locator pins that are on the bottom of the Dayton and just glue the Dayton onto the stock TFC. 

In order to build the TFC you will need the following additional parts:

1. Clear cover and label
2. Scale spring (TopStudio TD23019)
3. Aluminium sheet for the small rectangle that goes on the rear of the Dayton
4. Decal for the base

Paints to use:

• Tamiya XF-54 Dark Sea Grey for the enclosure
• Tamiya TS-6 Flat Black for the black part on top and the Y-handle
• Vallejo Steel 71.065 for the metal colored parts (e.g.nuts)
• Vallejo Gold 71.066 for the upward contacts
• Vallejo Copper 71.068 for the inner contacts and the detailing on the upward contacts and the screw on top of the Y-handle (check reference picture)
• Vallejo Black Grey 70.862 for both sides of the disks
• Vallejo Burnt Umber 70.941 for the edges of the disks
