Fork cap for 1983 CB1100F - 3D model of the Honda part number 51458-MG5-671.
It is the fork cap for the 1983 CB1100F.
The cap is clipped in place onto the white plastic disc of the actual adjuster. I tried to recreate the cap in all dimensions, but clipping features are always somewhat tricky to get right the first time. Also, I have no control over the manufacturing process itself, so you might have to do some finetuning by yourself. In this case, that means to grind carefully away parts of the plastic retaining collar (red marked area in above shown picture) or add parts of the plastic bag, in which the part came (see picture), until the snap on funcition works satisfactory.
This cap was originally modeled after a cap, that is on a VF750F, but a friendly bloke (thanks, Michel! :) ) told me, it also fits mechancally the 1983 CB1100F. So, I adjusted the design for the CB (removed the recess on the top) and here we go!
