Product Description
N 1/160 scale old time locomotive smokestack set 3. The locomotive to fit them to may need modifications. The parts are based on drawings in the book Recent locomotives from 1886.
The set contains:
-1 pc small diamond smokestack 11.4mm long (approx. scale 72")
-1 pc medium diamond smokestack 11.7mm long (approx. scale 74")
-1 pc cap stack 10.3mm long (approx. scale 65-1/2")
NOTE! This set has shorter diamond stacks than set 1 and 2
The set is best printed in Shapeways material frosted extreme detail.
Prior to painting the parts should be thoroughly cleaned in denatured alcohol and dishwashing liquid to get rid of the process wax. Use primer coat and then enamel or acrylic paint. They may need some sanding depending on how they where oriented when printed. The smokestacks fit directly to the top of the smokebox. Some sanding may be needed for a perfect fit.
