Product Description
This 3D printed molecular model of a deoxygenated HEME Group. Surrounding the iron atom core of the HEME Group is a pyloric ring of atoms that hold the iron atom offset from the center of the disk. When small molecules like Oxygen bind the iron atom of the HEME Group, the iron atom shifts towards the center of the ring, pulling the globulin hemoglobin chain causing conformation shape change.
