Product Description
This version has notches added in the bolster to accomodate 26" wheels. The other version, also available in the store, does not have these notches as it is intended to use 24" wheels per the surviving pair at NSRM and the results of scaling photos.
These trucks were typically found under the 27' freight cars built by the UP for the DSP&P. They are based on dimensions from a surviving pair in Nevada as well as historic photos.
I usually clear the axle holes (very carefully) with a #51 drill bit to produce free rolling trucks.
