Product Description

This product is based off of the Spoked Flatbed/Flatcar that was featured prevalently in the Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends television series. This iteration of the model is based off of the flatbed featured in the CGI era of Thomas & Friends. V1 features siderails, v2 features the same sidebars but with a raised floor, and v3 features no siderails and a raised floor. In order for the bogies to attach to the chassis of this model, you will need to buy a size #4 screw with the associated Hex nut. The hex nut will fit in the hex shaped hole on the underside of the chassis and will require glue to stay in place. The screw will then go through the hole in the bogie and screw into the hex nut attached to the chassis. This particular iteration of the model features the international Hook and Loop coupling system, including the hooks. Beyond the screws and nuts, you will also need to provide a set of two Hornby 14.1mm or HO scale 38" wheels for each bogie in order for the model to run.
