A freelance Maunsell 009 0-6-0 Goods engine, inspired by the SR's Q Class locomotives. Originally Designed in 009 to fit a modified Graham Farish Large Prairie chassis, it has had little modification for O-16.5 besides filling some of the gaps made for the Farish chassis. I will have a look around to see what chassis fit when I eventually get an example printed myself, but for now it is offered as-is and for the purchaser to identify a chassis. If you do so then I would very much appreciate if you could tell me which one it fits, or whether you had to make your own! Please note that no tender-loco coupling connection has been included with this version. I will, at some stage, amend both this loco design and the Maunsell tender design to include a coupling between the two.
Please also note that no tender is currently available for this model as it is currently unprintable in this scale. I will investigate the cause of this and will try and get it available. In the meantime I recommend perhaps locating a Bachmann N Class tender chassis and scratchbuilding a body for it from plasticard.
I intend numbering my own example in the 1930-1999 series, which under BR Numbering would equate to 31930-31999, as this series appears to be vacant in the SR Numbering scheme. My layout is intended to be set on the Eastern Division of the Southern.
