The Icosahedron and Dodecahedron are 2 of the 5 Platonic solids that share a 5 symmetry. They are 'duals' of each other as is shown in this model where the innermost Icosa is stellated to produce the Dodeca that is again stellated to produce the larger Icosa.

The Icosa has 12 vertexes and 20 faces whilst the Dodeca has 12 faces and 20 vertexes.

The lines here are a little thick at 2mm but this makes them stronger for printing in the full color sandstone. Please find our versions with thinner lines for printing in other materials

5 symmetry shapes invariably display Golden Mean proportions.

They also tend to be associated with transmutation, transmission, change, and life itself, and therefore it is no surprise to find that the DNA of living organisms is based on these molecular shapes.
The star shaped forms are a symbol for spirit as the animating force that destabilizes matter and allows for evolution and consciousness.

Wearing these shapes or having them in your space strengthens the life force and the connection to the life force of the planet as well as activating the eye, throat, and crown chakras.

This particular coloring makes it easy to see the inner yellow icosa and blue dodeca
