Product Description
These are slendor little lamp posts or lamp standards, drawn based on photos and observations of posts used around my home town from the early 1900s into the 1950s. The posts have a void up inside to allow insertion of Ngineering .018" stainless tubing, and to allow fishing the two very fine wires of an LED.
I have the lamp shades and little finials that sit on top available for purchase in sets of 8 seperately. This set of 10 posts allows for two to be damaged and discarded in assembly.
The lamp shades need to be drilled from the underside to make room for the LED to fit inside. The idea is to not paint the FUD shade, just the separate post and finial, producing good colour separation while allowing the LED to glow inside the frosted white FUD.
