A faceplate designed to hold 2x Philips Hue remotes (v2), in the visual style of the original single, that fits the provided original back plate.
Your V2 remotes each came with a faceplate for a single remote and a back plate it clips to that can be screwed or stuck to the wall. This double remote faceplate is designed to work with that back plate, so it is easy to swap over with no visible screws.
The remotes have a built it magnet, so you will need to add a (ferrous) metal plate on the back of the faceplate. You can either take them from the original faceplates that came with the remotes, or fashion your own.
Place the remote in the faceplate's depression, flip the faceplate face down, then place the metal plate on the back and the magnet will cause it to jump into position. You can then stick it in place (I used superglue).
N.B. The white nylon is not completely opaque at this thickness, so ambiant light can get behind it causing the metal plates to become a shadow that it visible.
Test this before glueing the plates in place. I recommend spraying the back of the face plate with white primer if this is an issue, before glueing the plates in place.
The natural finish is a little rough to the touch, if this is not to taste then sanding the top surface with 300 grit sandpaper on a flat surface in one direction can give a nice and smooth finish.
