Product Description
The Imperial chrysanthemum, ever since the establishment of the Imperial Japanese Navy, had been used on military vessels as a national seal, akin to the crests of European ironclads (the latter discontinued after the early 1900s). The crest was present on all Japanese warships cruiser-sized and above, placed on the upper bow of the vessel.
