Product Description
STAAG is a microphone array that combines two near-coincident arrays (one forward-facing, and one rearward facing). The concept is that front and rear components are blended to adjust the perception of natural room ambience.
The STAAG Microphone Array Mount 19mm/19mm is designed to accommodate 19mm or 20mm diameter microphones. Both pairs are splayed at a 110 degree angle.
STAAG works well with cardioid mics in the front channels and hypercardioid mics in the rear channels, however many combinations can be used successfully in a variety of situations.
