Shimano SW-RS801 sprint shifters are very useful, but have limited mounting options. I was looking for a way to mount these shifters in bar plugs for an aerobar setup. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I decided to design my own. These mounts are intended to hold a sprint shifter and press into an aero bar with an internal diameter of ~xx mm. The design consists of two parts: A plug body and a plug core (this is the core). The shifter is first slid into the body and then inserted upward into the pocket. The plug core is then inserted to hold the shifter in place. The whole assembly is then inserted into the bar. An M3x35 SHCS and nut (not included) are utilized to lock the bar end in place. The nut is pressed into a slot in the core. The SHCS inserts from the front of the plug and is used to pull the plug core into the plug body. The plug core includes a wedge which locks the body in place.

I used black annodized hardware to keep it looking sleek and to minimize weight. Total weight is ~13g for one assembly.
