Product Description
These flag stations, designed in 1902 for Milton, PEI, found use in numerous locations along the Prince Edward Island railway. They were used as replacements for the original 1870s flag stations, and were also built along the new Murray Harbor and Montague branches in 1904-1905.
This model reflects the appearance after modernization, with a proper door and a small window on the waiting room end. One such station was found at Colville, PEI.
Following termination of passenger service, several found their way onto farms as storage buildings, and at least one (modified) served as a section shed at Lake Verde until abandonment. The Colville station survived as a farm building in Hampshire, PEI.
