Welcome to the Crown Jewel of the Hylanos Corp. collection.
Spider-Man fans, have you seen the current Doctor Octopus on the market? It's a wonderful figure, a great sculpt that really captures the personality of the character. Unfortunately, it's weighed down by a higher pricepoint that's supposedly justified by, let's be honest, less-than-satisfactory tentacles. They're rubber, they have no posability, and they fail when subjected to Earth's only constant; gravity.
Customizers have since set out to remedy this, and indeed, this kit seeks to stand on the shoulders of those giants, taking influence in the form of one key component: USB Gooseneck Booklights. Yes, you will need to buy these separately. Yes, you will also need about 200 rubber o-rings, You can buy both in bulk on Amazon.
You see, at Hylanos Corp, we have gone one step further in the rat race to create the ultimate figure of the great Otto Octavius: We've added 3d printing into the mix, and now we're making it available to you.
So here's the bad news. Hylanos Corp engineers have worked tirelessly to reduce the cost of these arms. We've been able to shave about 13 dollars off the price, but the limitations of Shapeways means these things are gonna cost 50 bucks. Each.
