Festiniog Railway Open Wagon No. 130 in 5.5mm Scale 12mm Gauge
The Festiniog Railway had a wide range of open wagons of many slightly different types.
Designed to be used with Ø8 wheels on 20mm long axles. I use '6 Spoke Curved' wheels with Ø1.5mm × 20mm axles provided by KB Scale. Also designed to use same the chopper couplings as provided in the wagon kits from Malcolm Savage Models.
*Note that the pre production model shown was printed in Shapeways' Frosted Detail material which is no longer available Frosted Ultra Detail should provide a crisper detailed model than the one shown.
The pre production model also uses brass detail parts that are now included in the 3D printed model.
