Helium Tankcar floor (AHM)

The floor casting fits snuggly as a replacement floor on the Helium Tankcar shell from AHM/Roco. You need to supply your own trucks and coupler boxes. Also included are two blanking plates, to hide the gap for the coupler pocket.

The floor has the straight sills as seen on later ATMX and MHAX cars. It features the open frame showing the underside of the helium tanks. You may build your own tanks from styrene tubing oder purchase my tank casting.
The double brake equipment is also cast in place, because it is visible from a side view.

Now you may replace the standard boxcar floor with this prototypically looking floor.
