Insert a D1 (mini) refill into this adapter, then insert the adapter/refill into any Sheaffer Stratowriter, including both RA-1 retractable and capped pens, as well as Fineline pens that used the screw-in Stratowriter refill. Your vintage Sheaffer will write again!
This adapter avoids the problems associated with the well-known "widget" because it exactly matches the original Stratowriter refill. No more fiddling around with a kludge to adjust the length of your refill...just insert and write.
D1 refills are readily available online and in most office supply stores. My favorite D1 is the UNI Jetstream SXR-200-07 or SXR-200-05 (0.7mm and 0.5mm tip, respectively). These are available from Jetpens online or from several sources on eBay.
