MK3 Sleeper SLEP N Gauge

Replacement bodyshell for the Dapol Mk3 coach, designed as a straight swap for the old shell. Still used by GWR and Caledonian Sleeper, the Mk3 Sleeper coach was formerly seen all across the UK rail network until the massive reduction in domestic sleeper services. Following this many became fixtures of preserved railways and some even plied their trade as far away as Denmark!

Construction notes: This bodyshell replaces the Dapol Mk3 bodyshell, the only alterations needed are the filing down of the ridge of plastic above the bufferbeam on the chassis to alow the bodyshell to fit.

As the design gives me the basis for the Mk3 coach bodyshell I will be creating further Mk3 coaches in the medium term, primarily modelling the Night Riviera rake and the recently modified HST Power Door Mk3s to be used by GWR, Scotrail and Crosscountry.
