      The Golausio Troop Ship is the main troop transport and planetary invasion vessel in the Matriarchal navy. It has largely taken this role over from the older, larger Force Dreadnought class when they became less viable.

      The Golausio is itself a capable combat ship. It has enough speed to keep up with most cruisers and fair shields and armour. The primary armament is a dozen particle beam turrets. Four leech cannon turrets mean that it can disable enemy vessels for capture itself, though it usually relies on the assistance of Lillours-YG Leech Frigates to run down speedier targets. Finally, it has rating 360 on the Xygritt’s point-defence scale from its various arrays and turrets.

      The Golausio has two small hangar bays on each side of the thermal vane. These are designed for the Kalu Assault shuttle for optimum loading for both infantry and vehicle companies from the troop quarters aboard the vessel.
