Product Description
The Crystal Master Chassis System is our premium chassis for the 89 Sabers Graflex. Though trickier to install than our one-piece chassis options, this five-part design is considerably simpler to build than many other high-end multi-part chassis.
As well as looking great, this chassis system is also extremely versatile. The main barrel section simply slides off and can be easily interchanged with various barrel section designs. These sections can be printed in either plastic or metal. Note however that due to dimensional print tolerance variations, parts should be ordered from their respective material printing page. Parts for plastic chassis should be ordered here, while metal chassis parts should be ordered here.
Note that 3d printed metal parts typically have print lines. Therefore a fair amount of work will be needed sanding and smoothing to achieve a polished look. As such, this chassis is aimed at more experienced lightsaber installers.
Note also that the video below shows the metal version of this chassis after sanding.
The chassis accepts a Proffieboard, 28mm bass speaker, 2.1mm recharge port, 18650 pre-wired battery and two neopixel accent LEDs.
Part 1 cannot be seen and slots into the front end of the 89 Sabers hilt;
Part 2 is the crystal chamber;
Part 3 holds the circuit board, charge port and speaker;
Part 4 slides over part three and is available in various designs;
Part 5 is the crystal which must be lit with a 5mm RGB common anode LED.
