Mitsubishi Eclipse 2g drivers manual mirror cover

Driver's side interior mirror cover for a second generation (1996-1999) Mitsubishi Eclipse or Eagle Talon with manual mirror adjustment.  This print includes both parts (shell and lid) connected by a removable sprue tree, and has been reinforced at points that are prone to breakage in the factory design.  When printed in nylon material, it is far superior to a brittle 20+ yr old OEM cover.  This cover is lightly textured to match interior grain.

To hold the adjustment lever, a self-tapping screw may be used in the provided mounting hole, or a 2mm brass threaded insert may be inserted into the hole with a soldering iron to support a matching machine screw for a factory-like fit.

For mounting, a hole in the outer shell has been partially bored and may be fully cut out with a pen knife or drill bit for standard factory mounting, or since the matching bracket is missing or broken in many vehicles, a tab in the base is provided for mounting underneath the upper mirror mounting nut.
