HPA adapter for kwc uzi magazine. The unit simply screws into the bottom of the magazine.
Im just a hobbyist and definitely not an expert when it comes to GBB's and basically I just threw stuff at the wall and saw what stuck so proceed with that in mind.
Couple ways to get this running:
1.-Since the the replica originally works with CO2 that is 800psi getting this to cycle proper, it requires atleast around 300-400 psi( I have not tested 800psi in long term, so do it at your own risk). Either try cranking up your airsoft HPA regulator to the max and see if it cycles propelly or lower the whole HPA tanks output to 400psi and use a regular paint ball line to run it (slide check recommended).
2.-You can also get it to work on lower psi by cutting the recoil and nozzle return springs to more "green gas GBB strenghts". The nozzle return spring needs to be stretched after its cut so it will fill the length again so try finding similiar spring first since spare parts are nonexistent.
I cant really give any specific lenghts to cut since i just incrementally shortened the springs and tested until it worked.
3. -Also the valve in the magazine limits the the air volume the blowback gets so replacing it might be the easiest solution, but to this day i have not found a suitable replacement.
Parts needed:- action army hpa tap kjw/WE thread
- mp5/vz61 or echo1 GAT aeg drum mag.
- 3 (15-18)mm x 2mm O-rings
Optional:- rocket valve for increasing blowback, helps the cycling for lower psi systems. lowers fps/ms.(you can glue same kind of wings to the original part for similiar results)
- Collar to prevent the adapter from spinning around.
Intallation notes:
Quick tutorial video
-Be careful not to overtighten the hpa tap, i designed it to dig in to the plastic.
-unscrew the co2 capsule puncture disk inside the mag.
-Any hpa tap with kjw/WE should work, but the shaft(6.8mm) after the threads might not fit or be under size.
-The collar is just optional, tape works just as good. You can also download and print it.
