Beautiful American marine. He fought against the British in the American revolutuinary war 1775. This marine is kneeling while holding his Springfield musket at his side. The musket, scabbard with bayonet are sold separately.
These were the very first American marines and fought on board Washington's navy ship.
They had green jackets because the Continental Congress noted that there was an aboundance of this material in Philadelphia warehouses.
