Ultra Compact Arca Plate and Strap Connector

Inspired by the size and shape of the Peak Design Anchor Mount (whose marketing language claims a size and slimness much smaller than a tripod plate), this is a little tiny combination tripod plate and strap connector. Technically Peak Design is right - this is 8mm wider, and a bit more square. But it's about the same size otherwise...

I've tested it with these screws:

Just get a 1/4 20 screw that is about 1/4" long, with a head no wider than 0.375".

I recommend using a small piece of non-adhesive friction tape between the plate and the camera body to further prevent movement.
I've used Duck brand, I imagine anything similar will work fine.

I have been using 3d printed tripod plate + strap connector combos for years with no problems, but ultimately the safety of your gear is up to you, and I take no responsibility for any damages caused if your copy of this design breaks or does not work with your gear.

Probably don't use this one for extended periods of time with heavier cameras - though my PLA copy with 15% infill and 4 perimeters held my pentax K-3 with the heaviest lens I own (sigma 18-35 f/1.8) just fine for some demo pix, I probably wouldn't trust it long term. It may be stronger in other materials, e.g. SLS nylon.
