After reading through the development records of the previous owners of Olympiadica Manufacturing and discovering the repeated failures and idiotic actions the new owners understood the true nature of their rival, Vaecors Weapons Systems. They further recognized the effectiveness of increased mobility and the probably need for orbital delivery and so they rushed the development of a booster pack to add to the 01 frame.
Vaecors had been using jump packs since the beginning to great effect and so the new OM administrative staff decided they should also cash in.
