Design study for a dedicated glider tug that would have been able to tow more glider for the same engine power than the old bombers normally used for the task. So far as I know only one general arrangement (GA) diagram was prepared of this concept. The canard configuration and swept wing was adopted so the glider tow point could be very close to the centre of gravity of the aircraft.
I have no information on the dimensions for this aircraft, the model was scaled from the relative size of its Bristol Mercury engines.
The spherical recess underneath the model is for mounting it on a 4.5mm (.177") BB.
Revised (16-Jul-2013) with smoother canopy mesh to avoid unprintable 'jaggies'.
Revised (29-Jul-2013) uniform canopy frame scaling & improved mesh.
