Product Description

The Lakonia was basically a shorter version of the Xiphos, a single-handed, double-edged shortsword used by the ancient Greeks. The Spartans were famous for carrying the shorter Lakonia or Kopis instead of the longer Xiphos. When they were asked why, they would often reply, "It brings us one step closer to our enemies."

However, if you prefer a Xiphos, I have a pendant for that too ;)
