I have never been a fan of diamonds. Yes they're pretty and sparkly but when you learn of the sometimes violence- ridden journey from the mines to your finger, that sparkle should seem very dull! Diamond mines in Africa have been the cause of civil wars, violence, rape, worker exploitation and a death toll of over tens of millions. This is something I am very passionate about so I have been brainstorming for a few weeks now figuring out ways to implement this in my shop. Then it hit me. Diamonds are really just an allotrope of Carbon! So the next time your significant other asks you for diamonds, give them Carbon! You can personalize it with words AND a picture (way more than you can with a diamond pendant)
