Original design of the EDF modified space battleship from Space Battleship Yamato - The Bolar Wars (Yamato III) by Leiji Matsumoto.
Developed from the Prince of Wales class space battleships, the EDF missile battleships consisted of a small number of multi-purpose vessels which could provide escort/fire support/raiding missions. The ships sacrificed two of the four turrets for 16 torpedo tubes and a trainable launcher with 6 ready shots. Different types of torpedoes could be used and/or reloaded.
