Battlecruiser

As a new purpose-built ship from the Civilian Guild, the Battlecruiser is an all-rounder able to serve as lead ship for the guild instead of relying on refurbished military ships. Featuring large flak cannons and an integral attractor beam the Battlecruiser is able to counter small ships while having a decent shield and hull rating to hang in a fight while friendlies retreat. It also features new generation technology such as advanced countermeasures and firewall countermeasures. The generalised role of the Battlecruiser and it's no fuss construction is, however, its main appeal, as it can serve most roles without needing the training to use it. It is the perfect choice for new captains in the frontier especially given its relatively cheap price.
