Product Description
This kit is very similar to our CNJ 1000 except that the shell is modified to be a generic representation of some of the later boxcab diesels built by Ingersoll-Rand. As you can see, doors have been added to the end, and the exhaust stacks have been removed from the roof. This should offer a great starting point for many of the early boxcab locomotives build during the 1920’s and 30’s.
This kit includes the body shell, frame, roof mounted radiators (install after painting) and truck side frames. All holes are printed for grab irons and roof mounted detail parts.
The coupler pockets are very shallow front to back. They are designed to use the draft gear lid, screw, and McHenry coupler that comes on the Bachmann 44 tonner. The new Micro Trains True Scale coupler might work as well, but I have not tried.

We highly recommend priming any of our 3D printed models with Mr. Surfacer1000. This is a self leveling primer that greatly reduces visible striations in 3D printed models.
