Product Description
Geometry: The Andromeda Cube is based on the geometry of the pentagonal icositetrahedron, and is a jumbling only puzzle. It has 24 different axes of rotation, each of which can stop at nine different places where subsequent turns on adjacent axes can be made. The Andromeda Cube shapeshifts and bandages constantly, making it extremely complex.
Other Items Needed: Dye: If you want the puzzle to be black, you'll need to dye the pieces yourself with a nylon dye such as RIT or Dylon. Stickers: Template available in the tips & how-tos forum. If you want professionally cut stickers, I recommend Oliver’s Stickers or Chewie's Custom Stickers. Screws: Twenty four 12mm M3 pan head screws required, available in hardware stores or on the web. Springs: 24 springs needed, available in web puzzle shops. I get mine from HK Now Store.
Degree of Difficulty: Assembly: Easy to assemble. Solving: Extremely difficult to solve.
Playability: The Andromeda Cube turns very easily, and the mechanism is stable.
