Product Description
This is a HOn30 version of the Nevada County NGRR caboose no.1 (HOn3), with a wider cupola.
This was converted from a boxcar and retains the sliding door on one side.
The roofs need to be made from styrene sheet. The handrails seen in the photo are from brass rod, bent using my HOn30 Handrail jig.
Trucks not included. Any of my HOn30 trucks will fit, those in the photo are caboose trucks.
There are mounting blocks at each end for a Microtrains 1015 coupler.
Overall length is a scale 26 feet. Width is 7.5 feet.
These Instructions, for the HOn3 version, should help with finishing the model.
The cupola is now inside the body, held in place by loops which will have to be cut off to free it.
