Product Description
Since they had seen some success with the Mk5, prior to the government stealing the project, Vaecors Weapon Systems began development of a modified Mk5 "Ergates", the Laborer. Focusing on a mix of sheer destructive force, armor, and and a laser Vaecors hoped their new mech would be tough enough not only to avoid capture by the government, but also to be able to bore through any blockade the government might employ with its new laser and thus move on to devastate OM's local factory. However, even with the increased speed, due to a lower missile cargo, the Mk5L only came within sight of the OM factory before the Revenue Service lawyers seized all of the pilot's assets for tax review and he was forced to abandon the mech and go into hiding.
