Product Description
A battleship proposal from Vice-Admiral Hidetaro Kaneda, submitted in around 1912. Since the country had limited funds and resources to expand the Imperial Japanese Navy quickly during wartime, he suggested building a single, massive dreadnought, that could act as a fleet in its own right. With 50 twin 406mm turrets, a length of 609mt, and a displacement of roughly half a million ton, the thing would have been so clumsy and so impractical, that they would have probably been better off converting it into a giant steel island/airstrip, much like a Japanese-style HMS Habakkuk, just not made out of ice.
