Product Description
Nylon insert comes with nipple pins ( no side barbs)
Nipple DRILLING INSTALLATION:
The insert sleeve is symmetrical.
Insert a 1/16" bit into each drill guide hole in the nipple pin and center the insert into the feed slot.
Strike the drill bit end to make a mark in the aluminum of the back web.
Remove the insert to center-punch the location. Use 1/8" drill bit to start with, then use a 3/16" drill bit to finish hole. Hand twist a larger drill bit in the holes to remove any burrs.
The nipple pin will prevent unintentional sliding of the insert.
If your insert comes with side Barbs, you can now router cut the feed slot with grooves using a Dremel tool, as seen in video.

If the non-Barbed insert pulls out too easy, you will need to use a Dremel router to cut grooves into the sides of the feed-slot channel and request an insert to be made with side barbs.
