McDonnell Douglas YC-15 1/285

Probably the only model of the McDonnell-Douglas YC-15 in 6 mm scale. This competed with Boeing's YC-14 in the U.S. Air Force's Advanced Medium STOL transport competition to replace the famous C-130. Both performed well, but neither design was chosen for production.
However, many of the YC-15's features were incorporated in the very successful C-17 transport from Boeing. We made our model hollow to keep down costs, so there are several "drain" holes in the bottom (Please use the 3D preview to check holes under the belly!).
