Product Description
Served as convoy escorts and antisubmarine warfare ships in WWII. The lead ship (USS Buckley) was launched in 1943, with 6 of the total 154 issued were high-speed units . This class succeeded the Evarts-class destoryer and used a turbo-electric transmission. After the war, most of the remaining vessels were sent to other countiries, while the rest were reserved by the US Navy until decommission.
