1/700 Sovetsky Soyuz Class Lower Hull Bow

Officially known as variant B of Project 23, only four of the fifteen originally planned Sovetsky Soyuz class battleships were ever laid down. Some 59,000 tons at standard load, the ships were to be armed with nine 406mm guns, of which one prototype was completed and saw action during the Great Patriotic War. Some of the largest ships of their time had they actually been completed, some three years in the building all vessels were stopped, with Sovetsky Soyuz being the most advanced in construction at 21%.
After the war the Soviet Union deemed not advisable completing the vessels and all were scrapped on the stocks.
