Headless Guitar Faceplate - Steinberger Spirit

Headless guitar faceplate with space for two covered humbucker pickups, volume control, tone control, and pickup selector switch.

This was designed to the dimensions & specifications of the Steinberger Spirit model guitars. This is not a replacement part for any existing guitar model. It was designed to allow for the creation of an interchangable faceplate for various pickup and control configurations in the spirit of the original carbon composite design.  This faceplate will not fit an original Steinberger GL.

Please note: this faceplate is not designed to be installed directly on top of an existing guitar without modifications.  The approximate thickness of this faceplate should be measured and the same amount of material should be planed flat off the face of the body of the guitar.  It is recommended to build a new body with this faceplate as the template.

There are 6 small attach points on the bottom into which a machine screw insert should be installed.  An appropriate length machine screw can then be installed from the back of the guitar to attach the faceplate.  There are plenty of reference photos of 1980's carbon fiber headless guitars with this style of faceplate online. 

Some edges may require some sanding to smooth them due to the design and the printing process.  It is strongly recommended that you prime and paint this faceplate with your choice of color options or stripes.
