Amazon Echo Alexa battery base accessory. Designed to perfectly cradle the Echo in a matching battery base intended for temporary setting such as a dinner party or places where a power outlet is not handy.
Note:
The power wire needs to be made from radio shack parts a 9 volt snap connector and an “H” power connector also known as 3.5mm O.D. 1.35mm I.D. power connector. The battery pack is available on Amazon 10x aa (two rows of 5) battery holder. If you really want this and can’t make the power wire leave me a message and I will make it for you as I would like to see this printed. I have tested my Alexa on battery and she lasts about 6 hours. My thought is to use aa alkaline rechargeable batteries as they will produce the appropriate voltage and last for over 100 recharges.
The two piece design allows for the battery holder to neatly clip into place while the cover slips over and clips into place into one compact assembly. Alexa then is plugged in and sits inside the matching designer battery base.
This is a Beta project as I have not printed it for myself yet as the $96.58 printing cost is a little more than I was planning on spending right now. As this is a 3d printed product a variety of colors and materials are available. I will go with the standard black “strong and flexible plastic”.
