Standard ISO intermodal (road/rail/shipping) tank containers are 8' (2.44m) wide and stand 4' (1.22m), 8' (2.44m), 8' 6" (2.59m) or "HiCube" 9' 6" (2.89m) tall.
They have been produced in in various lengths from 10-53' (3.05-16.15m), the most common being 20' (6.06m) or 30' (9.09m) long.
Prototype photographs of containers are commonplace on the Internet, but "Matt's Place" is a well structured resource.

NOTES

Choose the material and scale you require. UK N Gauge is 1:148, UK TT/3mm Scale is 1:100), OO is 1:76 and O is 1:43. US/European N Scale (1:160), TT (1:120) and HO (1:87).
This print contains front and rear panels to assist in the assembly of a wide variety of tank container models.
Square or rectangular section acrylic or polystyrene bar, pipe or duct can be an economic solution for tanks and frames.
Attach to plasticard using cyanoacrylic adhesive (Superglue).
